About the Role We are looking for an exceptional, customer centric Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to enhance the growth of our software platform and services within your local education market as well as having the potential opportunity to expand our growth to other territories within Australia and beyond! The key focus of this role is to empower schools to support and develop their teaching staff through learning technology. The growth of the Schoolbox customer group, increasing our market share, and generating revenue growth will be your primary focus. Building and nurturing relationships will be core to your DNA and you will be using your advisory and consultative sales approach to influence decision makers within schools. About You You are an energetic team player, who is driven by making a difference in education – and contributing to the success of our growing business. In addition you will: Proven experience in B2B sales within education, SaaS, or similarly complex consultative markets. Have a great operational sales rhythm and experience managing long sales cycles Have experience of using various means to identify sales engagement opportunities; such as data, conferences, prospecting activities, marketing insights Live by our core value of ‘we seek first to understand and then be understood’ when approaching prospective customers Be able to confidently represent Schoolbox at various events, conferences, user forums and showcases.
