We are currently recruiting Meter Readers across Electricity, Water, and Gas , and are looking for reliable, safety focused individuals to join our team. About the Role As a Meter Reader, you will independently travel between residential and commercial properties to record meter data. You’ll receive full training, onboarding support, uniforms, and all necessary equipment to perform your role safely and effectively. Positions are available across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding regions . Key Responsibilities Reading and recording meter data using handheld device (Supplied) Working outdoors in all weather conditions Walking 15–20 km per day while navigating varied terrain (stairs, slopes, grass, uneven ground) Regular bending, squatting, crouching , and accessing meter boxes Maintaining a strong safety focus , adhering to all procedures and field safety requirements Driving between route areas and completing daily schedules Demonstrating high attention to detail to ensure accurate readings Maintaining strong self awareness , particularly regarding surroundings, property access, dogs, hazards, and environmental risks Representing Service Stream professionally with customer friendly communication We are seeking candidates who are: Physically fit and capable of walking up to 20 km per day Safety minded with strong situational awareness Comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, humidity, and cold Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy Comfortable with Technology.
