The Team: Education plays a critical role in protecting athletes and preventing integrity threats in Australian sport. The Sport Integrity Australia education team is responsible for the design and delivery of sport integrity education to participants in more than 90 sports across the country. This includes the design and delivery of tailored face to face sessions, webinars and outreach events, the creation of eLearning courses and other education resources, a school engagement program, and management of SIA's Learning Management System and the Sport Integrity App. The team works across all levels of sport, from community level sport, up to Olympic, Paralympic and professional sports. Key to the team's success is the ability to work with subject matter experts to translate integrity policy into messaging that will resonate with each audience, and the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships to embed education within the sporting ecosystem. The Role: This key leadership position is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of Sport Integrity Australia's education strategy to prevent a range of integrity threats in sport including doping, match fixing, child safeguarding threats and illicit drug use. The role will lead a team to develop and implement education interventions such as face-to-face sessions, eLearning courses, outreach events and webinars, as well as the development of educational resources such as videos, booklets, pamphlets and mobile apps. The Director will also lead stakeholder engagement and collaboration with National Sporting Organisations, schools, international anti-doping agencies and other relevant organisations in order to implement these programs across all levels of sport in Australia. The key duties of the position include The duties of the Director, Education include, but are not limited to: Develop and lead the implementation of an Education Strategy which reflects the broader strategic priorities and corporate goals of Sport Integrity Australia, and is compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code's International Standard of Education Implement creative strategies to continue to expand the reach of SIA's education program to all participants (athletes, coaches, parents, children, medical personnel etc) across all levels of sport (community to high performance) Support a team to prepare and deliver high quality education programs and resources(face-to-face, online, digital and printed material) Maintain and develop high level stakeholder relationships and strategic alliances, both domestically and internationally,in order toidentify opportunities for collaborative partnerships and enhance Sport Integrity Australia's education program. Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, informed by sound evaluation methodologies Stay up to date with contemporary andragogical and pedagogical best practice, as well as social science research which underpins integrity education theory. Providestrategic advice to the Sport Integrity Australia's Executive and other line areas regarding sport integrity education asrequired Work collaboratively with other members of the Sport Integrity Australia's Senior Leadership Group to ensure the education program is part of a holistic program to prevent, deter and detect integrity threats in Australian sport, and drive cross-agency collaborations whererequired Providestrategic advice and inputintothe delivery of the PlayBythe Rules program Ensure all education materials are high quality andaccurate, collaborating with subject matter experts and external providers to co-design effective education products Identify,mitigateand manage risks as they relate to the delivery of the Education Strategy Develop and manage the Education budget, prioritising resources asrequired, and overseeing major procurement and contract management Provide coachingand mentoring to Education team members, as well as performance management and development as required Maintaina high levelofknowledge ofrelevant to sport integrity threats including doping, match fixing, corruption,safeguardingand illicit drug use in sport Maintain a high level of knowledge of current pedagogy The key accountabilities of the Director, Education include, but are not limited to: Delivery of outcomes in line with the Education Strategy.
