Contract: 8-9 Months (possibility of extension) Identity & Access Management (IAM) Project North Sydney Office (Flexible/Hybrid work) A leading global organisation is seeking a Security Analyst / Identity Specialist to play a key role in a major Identity & Access Management (IAM) uplift, strengthening security controls and supporting the delivery of the security roadmap. You will be assessing risks, analysing access patterns, supporting IAM controls, and ensuring alignment with organisational security policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyse enterprise application access models, including privileged access management. Analyse identity-related data to identify anomalies, trends, and potential security risks. Collaborate with technical teams to validate authentication, authorisation, and identity governance requirements. Support project and operational teams in onboarding applications and administrative accounts. Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure secure adoption of IAM changes. Assist in developing and maintaining security documentation. Contribute to role-based access models, least privilege design, and segregation of duties controls. Key Requirements: Tertiary Education, or relevant industry qualification(s). Min. 3 years experience working within the Information Security / Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Cybersecurity. Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, authentication methods, and access control principles. Experience with IAM tools (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk), desirable. Understanding of multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions and Single Sign On (SSO). Experience supporting mid-large scale IAM transformation programs. Excellent documentation and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
