An exciting opportunity is available for a confident and hands-on Front of House Manager / Bar Manager to lead service in a high-profile Darwin venue known for quality cocktails, great food, and a vibrant atmosphere. The Company This well-established hospitality venue is a destination for locals and visitors alike, offering a mix of indoor cocktail lounge service and an outdoor terrace experience. The Role The successful candidate will take ownership of front-of-house operations and bar performance. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, driving standards, and keeping the team engaged and guest-focused. Key responsibilities include: Leading day-to-day service across both the cocktail lounge and terrace Rostering and managing a team of approximately 12 staff Training and developing FOH team members to deliver strong service standards Stock ordering and stock control across bar operations Supporting activations, specials and promotions in collaboration with the Events Manager Skills & Experience Strong experience in bar-led hospitality environments (cocktails essential) Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, floor-first approach Confidence managing rosters, staff development and team communication Solid understanding of stock control, ordering and service efficiency A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with the ability to "get in and get it done" Benefits & Culture Salary package of $110k super Flexible roster potential: 4-day week / approx. 40 hours in quieter periods Venue closed Monday & Tuesday, with Sunday optional Busy peak season trade with variety and strong energy High autonomy with supportive check-ins and clear expectations If you are a confident hospitality leader who genuinely loves customer service, thrives in cocktail service, loves leading from the front, and wants a role with autonomy and lifestyle flexibility, apply today to learn more.
