Clinical Senior Information Services Officer (Social Worker, Psychologist, Mental Health OT, Counsellor) $65-$75 per hour | ASAP start - 12-month contract | WA, NSW, SA, VIC, TAS, ACT, QLD, NT An opportunity is available for an experienced mental health clinician to join a national clinical governance and information management team as part of a federal government contract. This position supports the review and analysis of clinical incidents and contributes to quality improvement and governance activities across a national service. This role suits clinicians with strong written communication skills, sound judgement, and experience working with complex and sensitive clinical information. The role Review, analyse, and prepare Clinical Incident Reviews and formal written responses Assess clinical information relating to risk and suicidal distress using a no-blame, trauma-informed approach Manage sensitive client information across multiple systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Support clinical review meetings and governance panels Contribute to policy development, clinical governance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives Work autonomously under limited direction within a national team Location & work arrangements National role with office locations available in: WA, NSW, SA, VIC, TAS, ACT, QLD, NT Candidates must be based near a CBD office location and able to attend mandatory office days Hybrid work options available This is not a fully remote role About you You will bring a strong clinical background in mental health, excellent written communication skills, and experience managing clinical risk and sensitive information. You must meet one of the following criteria: AHPRA-registered Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Social Worker eligible for AASW membership Counsellor with a minimum of 3 years' mental health experience Minimum of 5 years' experience working in mental health settings Experience in clinical incident reviews, governance, or APS-style environments is highly regarded. Additional information Hourly rate: $65-$75 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract length: 12 months Eligibility: Australian citizenship required Clearance: Baseline security clearance and criminal history check required Interested?
