Your New Role We are currently looking for a Content Designer on a 6-month contract to work within the Fund’s Continuous Delivery framework to design and deliver smart, actionable content across the AustralianSuper website, member portal, mobile app, and other channels. Reporting to the Content Strategy Manager as part of the CX & Channels team, the successful candidate will collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, developers, SEO specialists, business analysts and product owners to ensure the content embedded in digital experiences is user-friendly, on brand, and insights driven. As a Content Designer, you will simplify complex superannuation concepts into concise, user-friendly instructions that empower users to take action with their super. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Channels and Compliance to deliver cohesive experiences that boost engagement and drive acquisition. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to Crafting accessible, actionable UX copy with a focus on improving readability and simplifying complex financial concepts Interpreting analytics, customer data, and user research to recommend content changes that drive usability and improve the member experience Performing content audits, identifying areas of duplication, confusion, misalignment with user needs, or other areas of improvement Testing and optimising content experiences through A/B testing and experimentation to drive continuous improvement Working to maintain and evolve the Information Architecture strategies of various digital platforms Supporting the creation of a Fund-wide content strategy across different channels and touchpoints Working with stakeholders from Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure content aligns to regulatory requirements whilst still meeting experience principles Acting as a subject matter expert for all things digital content and promoting a best-practice approach to content design and strategy throughout the Fund What You’ll Need Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. marketing, UX design, or journalism) or equivalent professional experience in content design, UX writing, and digital content optimisation Previous experience in superannuation or financial services (favourable but not required) Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital content strategy, design and optimisation Experience interpreting content strategy principles to deliver targeted, user-centred content through an insights-led approach Experience working in Agile frameworks, collaborating with UX/UI designers, researchers, SEO specialists, and developers in a squad or project team model Understanding of best practise UX and UI design principles, especially as pertains to digital content Strong understanding of analytics and the ability to effectively interpret data to inform optimisation opportunities Proficiency with Figma and collaboration tools like Miro, Confluence, and Jira Stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with peer and senior stakeholders Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
