Registered Nurse Job No: JR109451 Cairns Private Hospital Permanent Nursing - Registered About the Role Cairns Private Hospital Day Surgery Unit is seeking an experienced nurse to join our supportive team to provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care. This role will see you working across the day surgery unit, endoscopy unit and the pre-admission clinic. The Day Surgery Unit offers elective surgery or diagnostic procedures in a modern and comfortable setting with a private, peaceful recovery area where patients can recuperate under the care of trained nursing staff. Your Skills and Experience You love the challenge, and the satisfaction, of working at the top level of practice in private health care and are passionate about utilising evidence-based practice within our wards. Current registration with AHPRA. Minimum 1 year post graduate experience in an acute care. Previous surgical or orthopaedics experience. Flexibility and ability to work in a varied and fast-paced environment. Experience within an endoscopy or surgical unit will be highly regarded. The right candidate must be willing to be trained in endoscopy unit if they do not possess experience in this specialty. Remuneration: $40.47 - $52.19 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8) [FTE $79,968.72 – $103,127.44].
