Position: Junior IT Support Technician Location: Perth, WA Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 Job Type: Permanent Position Overview: We’re looking for a Junior IT Technician to join a friendly and supportive team in Perth. This role will also give you exposure to basic systems administration and networking, providing an excellent foundation for your IT career. A supportive company culture that invests in its people. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to clients, helping them with basic IT issues. Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Support basic systems administration tasks such as user account setup and permissions. Assist with basic networking tasks, including connectivity troubleshooting and network setup. Perform onsite visits to client locations when required (a car is essential for this role). Set up and configure new equipment under guidance. Manage software licences. Assist in onboarding, setting up new email accounts, permissions and system access. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve issues. Update and maintain technical documentation. Role Requirements: A genuine passion for IT and a willingness to learn. Excellent customer service skills – you’re friendly, approachable, and love helping people. Great communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team environment and support others. A proactive attitude and a desire to take on new challenges. A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle (this is essential). Certifications are highly regarded – CCNA, NSE 1-3, MS-900, or equivalent certifications.
