OUR CLIENT & YOUR ROLE Our client is recognised as a major player in the sealing industry globally. They are proud to service a wide range of industries with their leading solutions. They are now looking for an outstanding Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. This role reports into the Service Centre Supervisor and is responsible for directing and leading the daily store activities to meet operational goals, while providing immediate supervision to a team of stores employees, assigning tasks, and checking quality. In this hands-on role you will: Lead the warehouse floor staff and activities Manage product despatch and book freight services Release, manage and close jobs in the work center software Ensure receiving processes are followed and goods are receipted Operate equipment (Forklift) and support manufacturing operations as needed Run the warehouse with maximum efficiency, maintaining a clean and organised work area Perform cycle counts and monitor stock levels of consumables Meet individual KPIs set by the reporting manager ABOUT YOU You have previously managed/supervised a warehouse team and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on on the warehouse floor as necessary. You will also bring with you the following skills / attributes: Experience in warehouse operations - hands-on with packaging, loading freight, and cycle counts Current Forklift Licence is essential Ability to plan, organise, and initiate ordering processes Computer literate (Word, Excel, Email) with ability to learn systems Always demonstrate a "right first time" approach Be conscientious and understand the importance of maintaining a high-quality service and output Follow instructions and procedures with a focus on quality of work REWARDS You will be REWARDED with an excellent salary package including Base Super OT and an enviable work-life balance with hours Mon-Thurs 7am-3:30pm and Friday 7am-1pm .
