The Man From Snowy River Hotel is seeking applications from highly skilled Cooks to join our kitchen team for the busy winter season, with roles commencing June and concluding in October. About the Venue Located in the stunning Snowy Mountains region, The Man From Snowy River Hotel is a well-known alpine hotel offering accommodation, dining and bar facilities to visitors throughout the winter snow season. The venue is renowned for its warm hospitality, hearty meals and fast-paced service during peak periods. About the Role As a Seasonal Cooks, you will be responsible for preparing quality meals in a high-volume kitchen, supporting smooth service during busy breakfast, lunch and dinner trade. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation Assist with food preparation, mise en place and service execution Work efficiently during peak service periods Follow recipes and directions from senior chefs Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS standards Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly Support a positive and collaborative kitchen team environment About You Proven experience as a Cook in a busy hotel or restaurant environment Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented Available to work from June through October (seasonal period) Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays What We Offer Seasonal employment in a popular alpine destination Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team and professional kitchen environment Opportunity to work in one of NSW’s most iconic mountain regions Accommodation provided during the employment If you are a skilled Cook looking for seasonal work from June to October , we would love to hear from you.
