Package: $130k–$150k Super (experience dependent) Bonuses: Monthly KPI bonus sign-on bonus after 12 months Location: Adelaide – Eastern Suburbs Business: Long-established, family-owned, medium-sized panel shop Relocation: Assistance available (anywhere in Australia) Hours: Monday to Friday | Immediate start The Opportunity A reputable, long-standing family-owned panel shop in Adelaide’s Eastern Suburbs is looking for a gun Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor who can run the estimating process cleanly, negotiate confidently with insurers, and keep jobs flowing through the workshop. This is a stable, well-run operation with modern systems, consistent work, and a team that values quality and professionalism. What You’ll Be Doing Assessing damage and preparing accurate, detailed repair estimates Explaining repair scope, costs and timeframes clearly to customers Negotiating with insurance companies and motor assessors to secure outcomes Managing workflow and vehicle movement to keep jobs on schedule Arranging and coordinating sublet repairs where required Recommending repair strategies/parts options to optimise cost and efficiency Maintaining job notes, documentation and compliance throughout repairs Completing final inspections prior to delivery (pre-accident standard) Finalising job files and invoicing on completion What We’re Looking For 3 years experience as a Panel Shop Estimator / VDA (or similar) Strong understanding of repair methods, parts, and panel shop processes Confident insurer negotiation skills and attention to detail Solid admin/computer skills and strong organisation/time management Great communication — calm, clear, customer-focused Highly regarded systems (not essential): iBodyshop, PartsCheck, Audanet, Estimage What’s On Offer $130k–$150k Super (based on experience) Monthly KPI bonus incentives Sign-on bonus after 12 months Relocation assistance available Australia-wide Modern facilities up-to-date equipment and technology Uniform provided Mon–Fri hours (no weekend grind) Long-term, secure role in a respected business Apply Now If you’re a sharp estimator who values accuracy, customer experience and keeping workflow under control — apply via SEEK with your resume.
