About the Opportunity This isn't just a supporting role; it's a chance to build your expertise across diverse projects, with work locations ranging from Kangaroo Island to Whyalla and Woomera. As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with a Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, taking on core responsibilities from project planning and coordination to commercial management and stakeholder relations. You'll be involved in a variety of civil construction work, including road construction and rehabilitation, civil remediation, landscaping, and concrete, electrical, and security works. This is a hands-on job that will see you gain invaluable experience with a supportive and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery, analyse project needs, and act as a focal point for all construction-based queries. Commercial & Contract Management: Track budgets and schedules, and assist in preparing critical submissions such as Notices of Delay, variations, and progress claims. Stakeholder Management: Support and manage effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders, aligning project outcomes with company values. Skills & Experience To excel in this role, you’ll be a proactive professional with a strong work ethic. Proven experience in structural or infrastructure project delivery. A Tertiary Qualification in Engineering and/or Project Management. Experience in contract administration and management. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, "can-do" attitude. Solid knowledge of the engineering industry and Australian Standards. Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and project management platforms.
