As a Carpenter at Rockcrete, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, renovating and repairing structures in support of our concrete and construction projects. This position requires precision, strong carpentry skills and the ability to work collaboratively with construction teams. Responsibilities and Tasks: Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Order and select timbers and materials, and prepare layouts for installation. Cut materials and assemble structural components according to design. Erect framework, install fixtures, and verify alignment and structural integrity. Nail fascia panels, sheathing, and fit exterior wall cladding, doors and windows. Assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install. Construct concrete formwork in support of pouring operations. Repair existing timber fittings or structures as required. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent). Minimum 2 year experience as a Carpenter. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications. Proficient use of carpentry tools (hand and power tools). Strong attention to safety and quality standards. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
