The Brand and Community Specialist (m/f/d) plays a key role in expanding Vectorworks’ brand awareness. This Sydney-based hybrid role is responsible for developing and nurturing key industry relationships with associations and publications, supporting awareness-driven advertising, sponsorships, and events in Australia and New Zealand (AUNZ). Acting as an on-the-ground representative of the brand, this individual serves as a trusted partner to external organizations, creating positive engagements with our brand and generating opportunities to introduce Vectorworks products to professionals and academics in the Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture/Design, and Entertainment design industries. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who thrives on relationship-building and community growth. While focused on AUNZ, the role operates within a global team, offering the opportunity to collaborate across regions and contribute to initiatives at a global scale. What will I do? Develop, manage, and grow relationships with industry associations and publications across Australia and New Zealand, to identify and coordinate sponsorships and awareness-focused advertising opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with industry thought leaders, brand advocates, and customers. Identify opportunities and assist with on-site needs for the creation of customer success stories to promote how our products are used in the market. Plan, project manage, and act as on-the-ground representative for the company at industry networking events, association meetings, and smaller local events relating to sponsorships. Assist in planning and executing brand awareness initiatives for industry trade shows and events in AUNZ, in collaboration with the Events team. Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist and PR team to align community engagement with content communication and brand goals. Collaborate closely with global colleagues across marketing and sales to align regional efforts, share insights, and apply best practices across markets. Why me? Experience with project management and using project management tools. Experience with webinars, professional sessions, and small customer events. Travel This role involves periodic travel and out-of-office activity throughout the year. We typically support up to 10 domestic events annually, most of which take place in Sydney, with occasional travel to other cities such as Melbourne for trade shows, customer stories, or industry events.
