About the role Optimal Living Therapy is a clinically led occupational therapy practice working with adults with complex disability across Perth Metro, we have also recently commenced community aged care work as well. Our founder, operations lead, and clinical lead are all occupational therapists and all continue to work clinically. We understand the sector because we are in it. We’ve built the business deliberately around strong clinical governance, financial sustainability, and systems that support clinicians to do meaningful work well, and to stay in the profession long term. At a time when morale across the sector is under pressure, we’ve focused on building clarity, structure, and genuine clinical support. That’s how we maintain competitive salaries, job security, and ongoing investment in learning, supervision, and development. We’re recruiting an OT or a Senior Occupational OT to join our team* This role suits an experienced clinician who: Still enjoys being an OT Values quality, structure, and clinical depth Wants to keep developing their skills rather than treading water Appreciates working in a team where support is real, not just promised You’ll be delivering community OT services, with access to strong clinical leadership, structured supervision, and well-established systems that make day-to-day work more manageable. While seniority is recognised and valued, we don’t expect you to arrive as a “finished product”. We invest in clinicians who want to keep growing. Full time preferred, but part time 0.6 upwards available. How We Work We are a high-performing, well-supported team. Our clinicians are organised, manage their time well, and prioritise clinical work during the day. Clarity and structure reduce stress far more than vague flexibility. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering high-quality OT services to adults in the community Working across areas such as assistive technology, complex home modifications (if desired), therapy and functional assessments Contributing to a collaborative, clinically engaged team culture Participating in structured supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing learning Working within established systems that support efficiency and quality What We’re Looking For AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (with current rights to work) Experience working with adults in the NDIS or complex disability space Strong clinical reasoning and professional judgement Organised, reliable, and able to manage time effectively Open to feedback, learning, and having robust clinical conversations Values teamwork, accountability, and professional growth Valid driver’s license Leadership opportunities may emerge over time, but we don’t hire directly into supervisory roles.
