About the Role We are seeking a Casual Geospatial Information Specialist to join our Operations team and help deliver our Spatial Property & Facilities Management software solutions. This role offers flexible hours ranging from 15 to 38 hours per week, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing technical GIS work with client engagement.Applicants must hold full‑time Australian working rights to be considered. You will support schools and partners as they implement and optimise our geospatial products, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Facilitate client onboarding, professional services, and support processes, ensuring exceptional service delivery Analyse and assess client requirements to provide tailored geospatial solutions Support clients through change management involving new software, systems, and processes Coordinate communication and data collection from third‑party suppliers (e.g., architects, construction agencies) Collaborate with internal teams across Operations and Tes to enhance onboarding and solution development Deploy and manage projects in alignment with strategic objectives, ensuring optimal client support Engage with clients to understand their business and technical goals, promoting effective use of Tes products Prepare and maintain accurate internal and external documentation Adhere to workplace safety standards and promote a safe working environment Embody and promote Tes’ core values in all interactions What You Will Need to Succeed Experience GIS and/or Surveying qualifications (preferred) Training or consulting delivery experience Skills Proficient in desktop GIS software (QGIS preferred), including georeferencing and projection systems Extensive experience with CAD tools (Autocad and Intellicad preferred) Strong understanding of building design and construction workflows Advanced knowledge of Web Mapping Applications (open source and commercial) Advanced proficiency in SQL Server database management Basic familiarity with FME or similar data transformation tools Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript or similar) Knowledge & Attributes Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results on time and within budget Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and disciplines Commitment to continuous improvement and client success Why Tes Our intuitive technology streamlines complex tasks, enhances learning experiences, and alleviates the administrative burdens that often overwhelm schools.
