The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic CTA Coordinator to lead and facilitate the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program in Fitzroy. This Department of Employment and Workplace Relations initiative empowers mature-age participants (45) by providing practical tools to boost their employability and competitiveness in the modern job market. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Manage the end-to-end student journey from enrolment to successful completion. Coordination: Oversee the scheduling, planning, and logistical organization of training delivery and events. Support: Act as the primary point of contact for students and trainers regarding training needs and resources. Reporting & Quality: Provide detailed training advice and reports to management while maintaining strict Quality Assurance measures on-site. Industry Links: Coordinate work experience placements, internships, and employment opportunities for participants. About You: You are a highly organized professional with a passion for helping mature-age workers transition into new careers. You bring: Proven background in training program coordination or vocational education. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). A Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is highly desirable (or a willingness to obtain one). A "can-do" approach with a commitment to continuous improvement. Requirements Current valid Driver’s Licence. Ability to travel and service the region Ability to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC). Valid Australian working rights. Why Join Us?
