Mittagong/ Appin Location - WEEKEND WORK AVAILABLE Times: 5:45am - 4pm Rate: $37 Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Safely and efficiently operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile quarried materials. Operate dump trucks to transport materials around the site as directed. Conduct daily pre-start checks, inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation. Load trucks and feed processing equipment with material, ensuring production flows smoothly. Production & Site Duties Assist with excavation, material handling, excavation loading, and other quarry tasks. Support the team in meeting production targets and quality standards . Follow site procedures and safety policies at all times. Safety & Cleanliness Maintain a clean and safe work area , reporting hazards or issues promptly. Report any faults or mechanical issues to supervisors. Comply with all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements . Skills & Qualifications Proven experience operating front-end loaders and dump trucks in a quarry, mining, construction or similar environment preferred. Strong understanding of quarry operations and materials handling. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting targets and quality expectations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety & regulatory compliance. Relevant operator tickets/licences (e.g., Heavy Rigid (HR) or plant licences for loaders and dump trucks) are highly desirable.
