This is your chance to step into a hands-on leadership role that's all about making a measurable impact as the Communications Manager, Enterprise and Experience . Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Communications, you will be the driving force behind effective, values-aligned communication across the entirety of St Vincent's. You will partner with key corporate functions such as Digital & Technology, People & Culture, and Mission, to translate complex priorities into clear, compelling messages that shape our strategy and culture. This is a full time 12-month maternity leave cover role based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement. Key responsibilities of the role: Be a Strategic Storyteller: Take the lead on developing and executing strategic communications for our biggest corporate priorities, partnering with key functions to translate complex change programs into clear, compelling narratives. Design the Employee Experience: Own the communications strategy for our most important internal moments and employee experience initiatives. You will lead the planning for high-profile, national events like the St Vincent’s People Awards and staff forums, ensuring every event is memorable and engaging. Lead and Mentor a Team: Step into a leadership space by managing and mentoring a small team of communications specialists, providing the guidance and creative direction needed to deliver exceptional work. Cultivate Executive Relationships: Build and maintain influential partnerships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring alignment and seamless cross-functional collaboration. Create High-Impact Content: Write, edit, and produce a diverse range of high-quality content, from executive messaging and video scripts to intranet articles and presentations, that resonates with both internal and external audiences. Things that work for us: Demonstrated experience in delivering high-profile and impactful internal communications and campaigns. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a range of formats and channels. Proven experience managing events communications and internal engagement campaigns. Ability to manage small teams with experience managing, guiding or mentoring junior colleagues. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
