We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Clinical Imaging Assistant to join our John Flynn Hospital team. This role supports radiographers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care across a range of imaging modalities. You will play a vital role in patient preparation, clinical assistance, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment. About the Role As a Clinical Assistant , you will provide essential support to our clinical team of Radiographer, Sonographers and Nurses while ensuring patients receive a high standard of care. Key Responsibilities Assisting radiographers and other clinical staff during imaging procedures Supporting patient care by understanding relevant clinical backgrounds and ensuring accurate patient identification Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after imaging examinations Undertaking patient cannulation and preparation for imaging across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and interventional procedures Obtaining and confirming patient consent in accordance with clinical and organisational policies Patient transport and provision of general clinical assistance Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment Stock management and preparation of imaging equipment Adhering to infection control standards and workplace health and safety requirement About You Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting (desirable but not essential) Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance or similar (preferred but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused Flexible availability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable with a strong work ethic What We Offer Flexible shifts and rosters Supportive and experienced clinical team On-the-job training and development Opportunity to gain experience within a leading medical imaging provider How To Apply Please click the apply button to apply of if you have any questions please give Aaron Piscopo (Talent Acquisition Coordinator) a call on 0499 973 913 Integral Diagnostics (IDX Group) supports a multicultural and diversity workplace.
