Your New Role Reporting to the Principal, Global Colleague Communications, the Manager, Global Colleague Communications will directly support the Fund’s Executive and Senior Leadership Team, to establish and maintain a clear leadership voice while overseeing the internal content for the Fund – inclusive of change communications. The Manager, Global Colleague Communications will work across the Fund’s Senior Leadership Network to understand and identify key priorities that support our strategy and transformation, general Fund activity that drives our purpose while positioning these things to amplify our colleague experience at AustralianSuper. Key duties include but are not limited to: Lead, develop and deliver strategic and operational communications programs and campaigns that support the delivery of the Fund’s purpose and business planning. Work with Principal, Global Colleague Communications to provide support to the Executive to deliver best practice internal communications aligned to the Fund’s culture and values. Lead and develop internal communications content in a broad range of content styles and forms and that is aligned to the Fund’s know, feel, do mindset. Proactively source, write and edit content for a suite of communication styles. Motivate and inspire the team and suppliers by demonstrating a commitment to the Fund’s values, decision pillars and leadership principles. Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team. Drive a strong service and excellence-oriented culture with accompanying KPIs, within the team, suppliers and partners. Work with the Fund’s Senior Leaders to develop the best communications strategy to amplify their role as leader and advocate. Ensure the team has adequate resources and culture to meet the near term and strategic goals and operational plans of AustralianSuper – right people, right place, right skills, at the right time. What You’ll Need A hands-on approach with a readiness to jump in and get things done. Extensive experience working in a similar in-house or consultancy role. Demonstrated expertise in best practice internal communications, delivering measurable results aligned to an organisation’s values and culture. Proficient with a range of communications tools like Canva, SharePoint, and other communications tools. Deep experience at video content creation including operating equipment, editing, developing briefs and working with external providers. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines and remain composed under pressure Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and engage positively with colleagues and with confidence.
