We have an exciting opportunity for Instrumentation Tube Fitter’s to join Powertech on Oil and Gas Project . Position Overview: Rate: $102.40/hr Super paid on all hours worked (Flat Rate) Role: Instrumentation Tube Fitter Start date: ASAP 2026 Duration: 3 - 6 months Roster: 3x1 Hours per day : (68 hour week) 10 hours per day Monday to Friday, unpaid 30 min lunch (6:30 am to 5:00pm) 10 hours per day Saturday, paid 30 min lunch (6:30 am to 4:30 pm) 8 hours per day on Sundays, paid 30 mins lunch (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) POH : Perth – however we will cover flights from any capital City in Australia Travel: Travel is in first and last day of swing, travel into Karratha on your first and out of Karratha on the last day of the swing. Up to 2 hours travel for Perth based, up to 8 hours travel interstate. You will be paid only the hours you work plus travel (as above) on first and last day. We will cover flights for interstate employees and assist with accommodation as required. Scope of Work: Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, hook-up drawings, and tubing layouts Measure, cut, bend, and install stainless steel and other alloy instrumentation tubing Install tube fittings, valves, manifolds, gauges, transmitters, and impulse lines Ensure correct routing, support spacing, slope, and orientation of tubing runs Perform tubing bending using manual or hydraulic bending machines Carry out tube fitting assembly in accordance with manufacturer specifications (e.g., Swagelok, Parker) Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and flushing of tubing systems Ensure tubing installations meet project specifications and industry standards Maintain cleanliness of tubing systems to prevent contamination Follow all HSE rules, permit-to-work systems, and toolbox talks Coordinate with instrument technicians, QA/QC inspectors, and supervisors Rectify punch list items and support pre-commissioning activities About You: Diploma or Trade Certificate in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field Minimum 3–5 years experience as an Instrumentation Tube Fitter in oil & gas projects Proven experience with stainless steel and alloy tubing Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation standards and practices Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications Familiar with international standards Experience working in hazardous areas Ready to join the team?
