Your opportunity As one of our Occupational Therapists , you will play a vital role in enhancing the independence and quality of life of residents across our Seniors Communities (Independent Living Units ). Working across Anglicare’s Castle Hill Villages and Glenhaven Green, you will assess, plan and deliver personalised therapy interventions that support daily living, prevent dysfunction and promote wellbeing. Employment will be on a permanent part-time basis, up to 32-hours per week. You will work collaboratively with 2 other Occupational Therapists and a broader multidisciplinary team, delivering clinical excellence while ensuring every resident feels valued, supported and empowered. With integrity and resilience, you will: Treat all residents with empathy, dignity and respect, supporting individual choice and wellbeing Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop, document and review therapy plans Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to achieve the best possible outcomes Share specialist knowledge and collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Registered Nurses Respond to urgent resident needs, implementing appropriate support strategies Maintain a safe, clean and compliant workplace in line with WHS and IMS requirements Actively contribute to a positive safety culture through reporting and consultation What you’ll bring You are a compassionate, skilled and resident-focused clinician who is passionate about supporting older people to live independently and with dignity. You will also need: Degree in Occupational Therapy Current professional registration with AHPRA Strong assessment, documentation and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care Ideally, you will also have experience working in gerontology or aged care settings Why Anglicare?
