Registry Product Delivery Lead Our registry ecosystem is evolving fast - we need a lead who can drive delivery and uplift across core platforms and workflows. We’re looking for a practical, outcomes focused delivery leader to take ownership of the registry backlog and strengthen how change flows across ALIP, Boardroom and the systems they connect into. About the role As the Registry Product Delivery Lead, you’ll be accountable for driving enhancements, new product builds and continuous improvement across Challenger’s registry platforms. You’ll own the delivery - shaping and prioritising the backlog, defining user stories, running sprints and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver high‑quality increments at pace. You’ll work end‑to‑end across the business, collaborating with engineering (onshore and offshore), digital, CRM, operations and Product Owners to ensure change is coordinated, transparent and aligned to business priorities. With clear prioritisation and strong stakeholder management, you’ll help teams move efficiently and remove friction from the delivery flow. You’ll take full ownership of the registry backlog, lead key delivery forums and play an important role in maturing Agile and product ownership practices across the ecosystem. Your work will shape how registry change moves through integrated systems - ensuring reliable, scalable processes that support customers, advisers and operational teams. Key Responsibilities Registry Platform Product Ownership Own and execute the delivery roadmap for ALIP and Boardroom, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational needs. Lead backlog lifecycle activities including change scoping, user story creation, sprint prioritisation and refinement. Work with engineering teams and vendor partners to manage capacity and provide transparent updates on progress and outcomes. Foster product ownership maturity, improving alignment between POs, delivery teams and business stakeholders. Engage key stakeholders across operations, product, risk, digital, CRM and enterprise platforms to ensure cohesive delivery. Monitor product health, platform performance and change readiness to drive continuous improvement. End‑to‑End Impact & Integration Assess registry changes for impacts across data, CRM, digital interfaces and operational workflows. Coordinate interdependencies with other Product Owners to support sequencing, planning and governance forums. Support simplification and uplift of registry workflows as platforms evolve. Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement Contribute to a maturing hybrid Agile operating model, helping introduce structure, cadence and delivery discipline. Facilitate delivery forums and working groups that support prioritisation, transparency and decision‑making. Champion a pragmatic, incremental, customer‑focused approach to delivery. What we’re looking for You’ll have a strong track record as a Senior Product Owner, Product Delivery Lead, Technical Delivery Lead or Application Delivery Lead, with meaningful experience working with registry platforms - life insurance, superannuation or policy administration systems (e.g., ALIP, Boardroom, OneVue or similar). You’ll also bring: Strong product ownership skills and experience coordinating and directing vendor or offshore delivery teams. Experience within complex ASX Listed or regulated organisations (financial services a strong plus). Solid understanding of backlog ownership, user story development, sprint planning and delivery coordination. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience influencing across business and technology. Awareness of how changes in one platform impact upstream/downstream systems across data, CRM or digital environments. You’re someone who Delivers outcomes through structure, prioritisation, relationships and clear communication. Thrives in a complex stakeholder environment with interconnected systems and dependencies. Understand Agile ways of working and can lift product maturity over time. Is confident running forums, chairing working groups, and driving alignment - especially in vendor-supported models Technical Skills / Knowledge Solid understanding of agile product management practices, including backlog ownership, user story development, sprint planning, and testing coordination Hybrid Agile delivery toolsets (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) Must have hands-on exposure to registry systems Understanding of complex integrated environments across data, digital and CRM Qualifications Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or Azure Fundamentals (desirable). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent industry experience. Why join?
