Business Unit Overview Superloop’s Finance unit aims to create a more valuable Superloop, in the eyes of Superloop’s customers, its employees, its shareholders, and the communities in which we operate. Superloop’s Finance unit owns and executes six core processes - data & analytics, financial control, treasury, billing & accounts receivable, accounts payable and finance business partnering. Role Purpose The Group Reporting Manager (Finance Manager) will report to the Group Financial Controller and will operate as an integral part of a passionate, hard-working, and collaborative Finance team. The Group Reporting Manager will play a significant role in supporting the preparation and consolidation of Superloop’s financial reporting process for external stakeholders, including the ASX and investors. The role will provide pivotal support to external auditing processes, IFRS technical accounting, month end closures, P&L statement and balance sheet insights, and tax positions and compliance for both our Australian and international entities across the Asia Pacific region. Key Responsibilities Prepare the financial reporting pack for half-year and full-year results, including 4D/4E statements, statutory financial statements, and assistance with ASX/investor reporting. Prepare accurate and effective tax workings for the Group for both half-year and year-end reporting periods. Interpret and apply Australian Accounting Standards, prepare technical accounting papers, determine appropriate accounting treatments, and provide technical accounting and tax advice to the broader finance team. Liaise with external tax consultants and ensure income tax compliance for all Australian entities. Support the preparation and compliance of all tax matters, including income tax, GST, FBT, R&D, and transfer pricing, working closely with external advisers. Manage financial reporting and tax compliance for international subsidiaries, maintaining close liaison with international audit and tax advisers. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations under the Corporations Act and relevant tax regulations across Australia and the APAC region. Oversee month-end close processes, including P&L and balance sheet reviews, analysis, and insights. Manage and record month-end accruals, provisions, and other required adjustments. Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations and support monthly management reporting deliverables. Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to the broader finance team. Lead and support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls. Assist with ad hoc financial control projects as required. Qualifications and Experience CA/CPA qualified accountant with experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 7 years post qualification experience in managing financial reporting, external audits, and tax compliance - including the preparation of technical financial position papers. Strong technical financial reporting and tax compliance skills, with proven experience in applying both in a practical manner. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and financial information to provide commercial outcomes and recommendations. Process improvement and optimisation mindset. Team player with strong communication & interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders of varying background and financial competency. Highly self-driven, achievement orientated with a “can do” attitude and strong ability in exercising sound judgement on areas of ambiguity. Passion for developing and coaching and building the capability of others. Leadership, problem solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Advanced Excel, and NetSuite ERP experience will be highly regarded. Able to adjust to new situations and support others in adapting to change.
