What You’ll Lead & Deliver Tax Review & Technical Oversight (Core Focus) Review complex tax returns across individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs Oversee BAS, IAS, CGT calculations, Div 7A, FBT, and tax planning strategies Provide high‑level technical tax guidance to the team and broader business Ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality across all tax outputs Mentor and upskill team members in tax matters, lifting capability and confidence Leadership & Client Management Manage workflow, deadlines, and team performance across onshore and offshore staff Lead, mentor, and develop junior and intermediate accountants Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through direct engagement Support the integration of a newly acquired tax agent business Collaborate with advisers, lending specialists, and investment teams to deliver holistic outcomes ⚙️ Process Improvement & Innovation Streamline processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency Drive continuous improvement across accounting and tax operations Support cross‑functional projects and business initiatives What You’ll Be Doing Day‑to‑Day Preparation & review of financial statements (individuals, companies, trusts) Review of tax returns and compliance reports BAS, IAS, APRA reporting, entity setups, advisory work Succession planning, asset sales, and general business advisory Managing your own client portfolio while supporting broader team outcomes
