Blast Crew We are currently seeking experienced Blast Crew members to join our team on a gold-based site commencing mid-February. Key Responsibilities Assist with drilling and blasting operations in accordance with site procedures Load and tie-in explosives and detonators under supervision and direction Conduct pre-blast and post-blast checks to ensure site safety and compliance Handle, store, and transport explosives in line with legislative requirements Maintain accurate blast records and documentation Identify and report hazards, misfires, or unsafe conditions immediately Work collaboratively with the blast team to meet production targets Adhere to all site safety, environmental, and quality standard Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated experience as a Blast Crew member in a similar mining environment Current Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months) Sound knowledge of drilling and blasting practices and safety procedures Ability to safely handle explosives and blasting accessories Strong understanding of WHS and site safety requirements Ability to follow detailed instructions and blast designs accurately Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team High attention to detail and strong situational awareness Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding FIFO environment If you meet the above criteria and are available to start mid-February, we encourage you to apply.
