Position Overview: The position will report to the Finance Team Accountant to assist with: Financial accounting and reporting. Development of the organisation's annual / long term budgets including capital budgets in consultation with the Management Team. Providing monthly reporting on Budget vs Actuals, Cash Flow Reports. Accounts payable / receivable, stock control, payroll and HR functions. Management of the financial systems as well as policies, procedures, and controls. Cost analysis and capex management Development and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with organisational policy, Australian Accounting Standards, and relevant legislation. What you Will Need: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Proven experience in a similar Accounting oriented role. A high level of organisation with a process driven focus and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment. Fast and accurate data entry skills. Proficiency with the MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency with accounting software programmes. The ability to work autonomously. A strong team orientation with proven communication skills. A willingness to learn and complete on-site training. Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following: Formal qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business or other related fields. MYOB AccountRight experience. Credit management experience.
