Your opportunity Full‑time – Seniors Communities – Macquarie Park Location - Flexibility You will play a vital role in shaping the onboarding and capability experience for our Retirement Villages workforce by designing clear, engaging and role relevant learning and operational content. Reporting to the Program Manager , you’ll work closely with subject matter experts and leaders across Seniors Communities to ensure induction, and orientation and standard operating procedure materials truly support staff to understand their roles, deliver excellent service, and embody our values. This is a highly collaborative role requiring exceptional communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating accessible, meaningful learning experiences. With integrity and resilience, you will: Review, map and refine existing induction, orientation and business as usual documents to identify overlaps, gaps and opportunities for simplification. Develop clear, role specific content that supports staff across care, operations, hospitality, spiritual care and resident engagement. Create modular, bite-sized resources suitable for microlearning, onboarding and quick reference tools across digital platforms. Collaborate with subject matter experts, business analysts, instructional designers and leaders to validate content and ensure accuracy and alignment. Act as a quality lead for content clarity and consistency across service delivery projects. Tailor communications to diverse workforce audiences, from frontline village teams to support office roles. Support storytelling and engagement efforts that connect daily work to Anglicare’s mission, values and For Life service model. Guide content owners in how to publish, maintain and manage documents on digital platforms such as the staff intranet and Microsoft 365. Promote a culture of safety, accessibility, inclusion and continuous improvement. What you’ll bring Strong writing, editing and communication skills with a focus on clarity and user centred design. Ability to interpret complex frameworks and translate them into simple, practical tools for staff. Experience working with digital publishing tools (SharePoint, CMS, Microsoft 365). Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work on time. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Alignment with Anglicare’s mission, vision and values — including integrity, compassion and excellence. Preferred Qualifications and Experience 5 years’ experience in content development, learning design, knowledge management or similar. Experience creating practical, user focused materials that support service delivery. Background in aged care, retirement living, community services, healthcare or hospitality (desirable). Experience in microlearning, quick reference resource design, or human-centred design approaches. Familiarity with adult learning principles and behavioural insights.
