Cosi Bar Ristorante is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team. Salary Range – $75,000 - $85,000 Business Location – South Yarra, Victoria, 3141 Responisibilities Inspect and assess food items to maintain quality standards. • Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment. • Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes. • Season dishes appropriately throughout the cooking process. • Portion and plate meals with appropriate garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments. • Store food safely in temperature-controlled environments. • Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary needs. • Assist with menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements. • Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required. Skills and Qualifications • AQF associate degree, Certificate II, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification. • Prior Experience as a Cook. • Strong Knowledge of Cooking Methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment • Ability to work Full Time • Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
