We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director, Prequalification to lead the ACT Government’s Prequalification Team and oversee the administration of both ACT and National Prequalification Schemes. This pivotal role ensures the integrity, transparency, and effectiveness of supplier eligibility frameworks that support infrastructure delivery across the Territory. As the Director of Prequalification, you will drive governance, compliance, and continuous improvement in contractor and consultant assessment processes. You will lead a high-performing team, manage complex regulatory and probity matters, and provide expert advice on scheme operations, supplier capability, and risk management. You will also oversee contracts and budgets that support the team’s operations and contribute to national working groups shaping prequalification policy across jurisdictions. As a leader, you will bring a collaborative and values-based approach, with the ability to align team performance, build capability, and apply sound judgement in a dynamic and regulated environment. Notes: This is a temporary position available from 02 March 2026 until 05 June 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
