This is an excellent for an Accountant to support financial operations, period-end reporting, and compliance activities. The role is perfect for someone who has recently become qualified (CA/CPA) and is looking for their first move from practice or step up within industry. The role: Handle the preparation of journals, accruals, and adjustments for designated business units and cost centres. Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring financial data is complete and accurate. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on any issues or variances identified. Support monthly reporting by contributing to variance analysis and other period‑end activities. Prepare and process client invoices and ensure revenue is recorded according to contract requirements. Produce weekly debtor reports and assist with monitoring outstanding receivables. Contribute to cash flow projections and related financial tasks. Assist with tax‑related obligations including BAS, FBT, and income tax. Support the annual audit process and statutory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
