We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong background in stakeholder and client engagement, to fill the role of Food Recall Coordinator at Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). This role oversees the coordination of national food recalls in Australia, and liaises with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government, industry, and consumers. The position also involves reporting on and enhancing food recall processes, updating documentation, delivering training, and supervising staff. The key duties of the position include The duties of this position include: • Engage with stakeholders via phone and email to coordinate food recalls and the response to other food safety issues. • Provide advice and lead project work on food recalls, including initiatives to improve business processes. • Analyse recall data for trends and contribute to reports on food recalls for FSANZ and other government agencies, industry stakeholders, and ministers. • Coordinate national food recalls in Australia, including by maintaining procedural guidelines, training material, team SharePoint sites, rosters, public webpages, and data/records management systems. • Supervise staff and deliver training for after-hours recall officers. • Organise and lead multi-jurisdictional meetings associated with food recalls. • Work out of hours to coordinate national food recalls when necessary.
