FULL-TIME PAINTER – BM Painting Group Pty Ltd Position: Painter Location: Strathtulloh, Victoria 3338 Salary: $77,000 per annum superannuation Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time BM Painting Group Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Painter to join our professional team in Strathtulloh, Victoria. We provide high-quality residential and commercial painting services and are looking for a reliable tradesperson who is committed to excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and workplace safety. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective drop sheets to safeguard surrounding areas from paint splashes • Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing timberwork, filling holes and cracks, and sanding, smoothing, and sealing surfaces • Mixing paints to required colours and consistencies using pigments, oils, thinners, and drying agents • Applying paints, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment • Installing wallpaper, matching patterns accurately, and trimming edges neatly • Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas • Conducting minor repairs including fixing window frames and replacing glass in timber or metal frames • Laying and repairing wall and floor tiles as required • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with OH&S requirements and project specifications Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required • Minimum of one (1) year of professional painting experience • Strong understanding of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques • Ability to work independently and within a team • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements and safe work practices • Mandatory qualification: Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent formal qualification Eligibility • Priority will be given to Australian citizens and permanent residents • All applicants must have valid work rights in Australia How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter through the job platform.
