About the role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join a high-performing credit team supporting secured business lending and asset finance. This is a senior, hands-on role assessing complex commercial applications, ensuring strong credit quality and compliance, and acting as a key support to the Credit Team Leader in driving workflow performance and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Assess, recommend and approve secured business loan and asset finance applications within delegated authority Structure and manage commercial lending deals including property-backed lending, refinancing and cashflow-based lending Ensure lending decisions align with credit policy and regulatory obligations (including NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy and PPSR) Manage daily workflow requirements including inboxes, documentation, QA/hindsight reviews and escalation management Build strong relationships with introducers and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality credit experience Support coaching, onboarding and development of Credit Analysts and Senior Credit Analysts Contribute to process and policy improvements to strengthen risk controls, quality and turnaround times About you You’re a commercially minded credit professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. You bring strong experience assessing secured business lending and/or asset finance applications, with the confidence to interpret financials, assess risk, and structure lending solutions that align with policy and compliance requirements. You are proactive, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. You also have a customer-first mindset, with the ability to build trusted relationships with introducers and internal stakeholders and contribute positively to team performance and continuous improvement.
