Position Overview Millies Fish & Chips is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Cook to support daily kitchen operations at our Paradise Point location. This role is suited to a professional Cook who can work efficiently in a high-volume food service environment while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. Key Duties : Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items in line with business standards Coordinate food preparation tasks to ensure efficient service delivery Monitor food quality, cooking times, and portion consistency Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance at all times Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory management Reduce food wastage through effective preparation and planning Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and food preparation areas Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff Required Skills : Strong practical cooking skills in a commercial kitchen environment Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods Knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and safety regulations Good organisational and time management skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic Experience : Minimum of two (2) years full-time relevant experience OR equivalent Qualifications : Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent qualification) What We Offer : Full-time ongoing position Competitive salary package above the minimum income threshold Stable role within an established local business A friendly and supportive team environment where your contribution helps deliver quality food and excellent customer service to our local community.
