Job Description Location: Sydney CBD, NSW Salary Package: $140,000 - $150,000 Super Role highlights: Respected Insurance Broker Role Overview Reo Group are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager for a well-established and growing Corporate Specialty Insurance Brokerage in Sydney. This role will see you be the driving force to support the in-sourcing of Finance and Accounting activities. This is a newly created, exciting role reporting to the Managing Director with the purpose of the role being the ownership of the Accounting function and providing Senior Leaders and external bodies with timely information, therefore someone who has a rounded Accounting skillset and possesses good communication skills will be a success in this role. Responsibilities Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. Preparation of the Monthly reporting pack (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) with commentary Payroll processing, on and off boarding employees AP, AR, Banking and Reconciliations Bas, FBT and Tax returns Audit Support and Corporate Secretarial Services Candidate Profile Being either a CPA or CA qualified you are currently likely sitting in either an existing Finance Manager role and seeking a role with a new challenge. Sector experience within Insurance broking / Financial Services is preferred but not necessary. You have a strong rounded background, ideally developed through hands-on roles and are seeking to develop the next stage of your career that could organically see this role grow into that of a Financial Controller in the future. You have good Finance systems skills around either Xero or MYOB or similar sized packages and a forward- thinking outlook. This role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.
