Your role within the team The Demand & Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for managing end-to-end demand and supply planning for the export channel, Baby Nutrition (BNC) and Pet Nutrition (PNC) categories. This role collaborates closely with commercial teams to integrate market insights and promotional activities, while partnering with Supply Chain and Sourcing to ensure product availability aligns with business requirements. The analyst proactively identifies and mitigates demand and supply risks, tracks key planning KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, stock availability, and planning cycle compliance, and supports the implementation of Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Key responsibilities include: Ownership of demand and supply plans for the export channel, Baby Nutrition (BNC) and Pet Nutrition (PNC) categories. Partner with commercial teams to capture market intelligence and promotional impacts. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sourcing to align supply plans and ensure product availability in line with commercial requirements. Identify, mitigate or escalate as required, demand and supply related risks. Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate demand and supply risks. Own and track planning KPIs for assigned portfolios, including forecast accuracy and bias, stock availability, and adherence to planning cycle timelines. Support the team in the rollout of ITP and IBP processes, including development of supporting analytics and reporting. To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, or a related discipline. 2–3 years’ experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain analytics roles, preferably within an FMCG environment. Experience using ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite, Blueshift, Futurmaster, or similar platforms. Intermediate data analysis and visualisation skills, including data extraction, analysis, and storytelling using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI. Solid understanding of forecasting principles, demand drivers, and supply planning parameters within an omni-channel, make-to-stock environment. Demonstrated ownership of demand and supply planning for defined channels or product portfolios (e.g. export, make-to-stock, omni-channel), working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to achieve target service levels. Exposure to S&OP, ITP/S&OE, and/or IBP processes. Experience working with multiple data sources, automating recurring reports, and preparing insights and materials for planning forums and leadership reviews.
