We are seeking an HSE Advisor – Assurance, Compliance & Incident Management to provide practical health, safety, and environment (HSE) leadership across projects and operations. This role focuses on compliance monitoring, incident investigation, and corrective action management—building confidence in our ability to meet regulatory and duty-of-care obligations. You will also coach project and asset teams to strengthen capability, curiosity, and ownership in managing psychosocial and operational risks. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HSE technical support, guidance, and coaching to asset, PMO, technical, and wider asset management teams. Contribute to the design and implementation of risk-based programs addressing major hazards, psychological health, and operational safety risks. Support the development and delivery of the Asset Management HSE strategy by sharing insights from operational and project activities. Assist in delivering asset-specific training and coaching to enhance compliance and incident management capability. Foster a culture of open reporting, learning from incidents, and continuous improvement in HSE practices. Maintain and review asset risk registers and workplace risk management plans to ensure risks are identified, documented, and monitored. Assist with audits, inspections, and performance reporting as part of the operational assurance and compliance program across Capex delivery and asset operations. Support emergency preparedness and crisis management through desktop exercises, scenario testing, and system coordination (Fulcrum and People First). Contribute to business continuity planning and updates as required. Investigate HSE incidents using recognised methods, ensuring findings and lessons learned are recorded and communicated. What Sets You Apart 2–4 years’ experience in HSE roles within asset management, facilities management, construction, property, or similar operational environments. Working knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements across commercial, industrial, retail, and residential assets. Experience implementing or monitoring HSE management systems, including assurance, compliance, or risk management processes. Exposure to incident reporting and investigations, with the ability to support root cause analysis and document lessons learned Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders including project teams, operational staff, and contractors. Familiarity with contractor HSE processes, including tender requirements, onboarding, and performance monitoring. Ability to demonstrate Mirvac’s culture and live by our values.
