The Opportunity A well-established boutique law firm with over 30 years’ experience is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal / Career Paralegal to join its growing Wills & Estates / Succession Law practice . This is a full-time, office-based role within a collaborative and experienced team, offering a hands-on probate practice and strong file ownership. The firm is known for its long-standing client relationships, practical legal advice and supportive, people-first culture. The role is based in Melbourne’s North-East , providing easy access for candidates across the northern and eastern suburbs. Perfect if you are looking for a role outside the CBD and closer to home. The Role You will manage probate and estate administration matters end-to-end , liaising directly with clients, executors, beneficiaries, the Supreme Court of Victoria and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Preparing and lodging probate applications and letters of administration Drafting and filing court documents, including grants of representation Managing correspondence with clients and the Supreme Court of Victoria Conducting searches and preparing probate and estate documentation Calling in estate assets and reporting to Executors, Administrators and Beneficiaries Maintaining accurate file records and assisting with estate distribution Providing general support to the Wills & Estates team as required About You 3 years’ experience in probate, succession law or estate administration Strong understanding of probate procedures and terminology Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with strong client-care skills Able to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision LEAP experience (preferred but not essential) PEXA experience (preferred but not essential) Salary of $115,000 package is on offer, reflective of experience, professionalism and productivity.
