Who You Are We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to build, maintain, and optimise web applications that power high-traffic digital platforms used by millions of customers. These applications play a critical role in delivering seamless, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across multiple digital channels. In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful, long-term initiatives that help shape how people interact with essential services every day. The work is impactful, technically challenging, and offers the opportunity to make a real difference at scale. Responsibilities: Develop and enhance modern front-end web applications, while contributing to full stack solutions to ensure seamless integration between UI and server-side logic. Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences. Create, modify, and enhance source code, ensuring maintainability and scalability. Conduct code reviews to uphold high quality standards and engineering best practices. Contribute to performance optimisation, reliability, and continuous improvement of web platforms. Requirements: Proven experience building responsive, user-friendly, and maintainable web applications in a full stack or frontend-focused role. Strong proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Node.js and server-side frameworks Solid understanding of web performance optimisation and responsive design principles. Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of web security best practices, including SSL, OAuth/OIDC authentication. Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and serverless architectures.
