As a Bus Driver within Seniors Communities , you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by supporting their independence, connection, and wellbeing through safe, respectful and reliable transport services. Your opportunity Casual role As our Bus Driver , you will safely transport residents to and from various local destinations, ensuring they feel supported, respected and cared for throughout their journey. You’ll assist residents on and off the bus, maintain safety standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of village activities. With integrity and resilience, you will: Transport residents safely, following all road rules and Anglicare procedures Assist residents boarding and exiting the bus, using steps or hydraulic hoist where Maintain valid First Aid certification and provide first aid when needed Ensure the bus runs closely to the scheduled timetable Keep the vehicle clean, well-presented and compliant with safety and hygiene standards Identify hazards, report concerns and contribute to a strong safety culture Support village operations by working cooperatively with other staff Provide friendly, compassionate customer service to residents at all times What you’ll bring You are a patient, caring and safety-focused individual who enjoys supporting older people and contributing to a positive community environment. You will also need: Light Rigid (LR) NSW Driver Licence Current First Aid Certificate Good time management and reliability Ability to work safely, follow procedures and minimise risk Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and respectful environment Ideally, you will also have: Experience transporting seniors or working in aged care Understanding of WHS, hazard identification and safe work practices Why Anglicare?
