Purpose Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager at El Vista, you are the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a warm and engaging experience. You’ll manage reservations, bill processing and cashiering, greet and seat guests, and ensure service runs smoothly all while maintaining Baha’s vibrant and inviting atmosphere. With your expertise and attention to detail, you’ll help create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back for more. Primary Responsibilities Manage reservation systems, including booking, confirming and adjustments. Keep track of the dining area and bar, coordinating with servers and management to maintain flow. Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality, anticipating needs to enhance their experience. Engage with internal & external guests to promote Baha’s offerings, events, and specials and to encourage repeat visits. Assist with operations, administrative tasks, events and ad hoc tasks as required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff. Skills and Experience Experience of incremental responsibility within a hotel/resort environment. Experience in similar position within a hotel/resort environment advantageous. Self-motivated with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, immaculate presentation and a friendly and professional demeanour at all times. Ability to confidently handle conflict resolution and guest complaints. Flexibility to work across a range of shifts as required.
