We are seeking Year 1–3 Resident Medical Officers eager to broaden their experience across our hospitals, or Registrars looking to further develop their medical expertise. Position Provides supervised clinical care to patients admitted to or under the supervision of the Consultant registered Medical Practitioner. Contributes to all aspects of patient care including daily ward rounds, routine clinical and administrative tasks and the admission of new team patients. Works with a variety of medical, nursing and allied health practitioners in a multi-disciplinary care environment. Actively participates in ongoing professional development programs. Undertakes all reasonable duties and rosters as allocated by the Director of Medical Services, Director of Clinical Teaching and relevant Physicians. Actively participates in performance reporting and career development processes as facilitated by the Director of Clinical Teaching. Attends relevant training sessions offered by SJGHC. Recognises the necessity to continually develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position You will be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), with a minimum of 2 years postgraduate training. You will have a Commitment to the promotion, protection, maintenance and restoration of the health of all patients and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. We can offer you Salary: $99,395 - $170,682 per annum, plus 12% superannuation Professional development allowance $6,503 -$11,381 pro rata per Annum if part time JMO support payment of $4,000 per annum pro rata if part time if part time. (T&Cs available in SJGHC AMA agreement) A full time fixed term position contracts of 12 or 24 months.
