The Opportunity HammondCare’s Respite Cottages provide short-term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. As a Casual Specialised Carer , you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalised care and creating a welcoming, home-like environment. About the role In this role you will provide care for our clients across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hills Cottages. Hourly Rates: $31.95 to $35.44- P/H penalties Shifts include: 7.15am-14.45 - Morning shift 14.45 - 21.45- Afternoon shift 21.30- 07.45- Night shift Responsibilities Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays Promote guest dignity and independence through daily activities Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally What do you need to apply? No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage Available to work across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hill sites First Aid certificate desirable Empathy and compassion are a must We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
