We’ve just created a Shed 2IC role to support our Shed Manager, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently in our busy packing shed. Located in the beautiful Lakeland, QLD, this position offers the unique opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance with a 4-day work week. What you'll be doing: As Shed 2IC, you’ll be at the heart of our packing shed operations, working closely with the Shed Manager, Farm Manager, and Administration Officer to keep everything on track. Your role will include: Leadership & Supervision: Guide, train, and motivate the packing shed team, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently while meeting the highest quality standards. Hands-On Support: Be involved in day-to-day operations including sorting, packing, stacking, lidding, QA, and PPS across various product lines. Operational Management: Collaborate with the Shed Manager to adapt to seasonal fluctuations, managing shed output and ensuring all produce is packed to industry best practices. Administration: Oversee site inductions, maintain accurate records (including timekeeping and farm orders), and handle all enquiries in a timely manner. Compliance: Ensure adherence to Workplace Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental objectives, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone who’s: Experienced: Proven leadership and administration experience in a similar role. Hands-On: Ready to get stuck in, lead by example, and help with production when needed. Organised & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage records, timekeeping, and paperwork efficiently. Safety-Conscious: Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Motivated & Energetic: Ready to take on a leadership role and grow with a progressive company.
