Job Title: Industrial & Automotive Electricians – Fuel Equipment Specialists Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne, VIC Employment Type: Contract / Temporary (with potential for ongoing work) Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour (Ordinary Hours) Superannuation Additional Benefits: Weekly pay Overtime opportunities at enhanced rates $27 daily travel allowance Supportive and structured work environment About the Role: TRS Resourcing is partnering with a leading fuel equipment specialist in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne to recruit experienced Industrial and Automotive Electricians . This role focuses on the assembly, installation, servicing and maintenance of specialised fuel transport equipment, including: Heavy-duty truck fuel tankers Aviation refuelling systems Associated prime movers and support equipment This contract role offers long-term project continuity through 2026 and beyond , with scope for ongoing engagement based on performance and operational demand. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical boxes, harnesses and electrical components. Interpret, work from, and comply with electrical circuit diagrams and engineering drawings. Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults to a high standard Install, configure and test PLCs and related control systems Route, terminate, and tag wiring looms and electrical installations Service and maintain electrical systems across fuel tanker fleets in line with regulatory and safety requirements Collaborate effectively within a workshop team and work autonomously when required Apply mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills consistently Qualifications & Requirements Completed trade qualification in electrical or a relevant field Demonstrated industrial and/or automotive electrical experience Own basic set of personal tools (specialist tools provided onsite) Ability to read and apply workshop and engineering documentation Two professional referees from recent electrical roles Legal right to work in Australia Current Melbourne/Victorian residency Why Work With TRS Resourcing?
