Our client in Cardiff require an Experienced Site Fitter to join their growing team. ASAP Start! Hours and rate: Workshop Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm Friday - 6am - 12pm Site Work Hours: Upto 12 hour shifts travel time $53ph additional site rate $ Overtime! Duties and Responsibilities: Working onsite regularly/weekly. (Site days upto 12hr shifts travel times) Days not onsite will be conducted at the Cardiff/Beresfield workshop Conducting Rotary duties (sealings, bearings, bearing housings, spherical roller bearing units) Conducting Linear bearings Conducting Power Transmissions Replacing and fixing Pumps and Breaks (drum and thruster, caliper and disc Brakes) Applying lubrication on equipment Use of rigging equipment (cranes or hoists) Potential for interstate work as required Ability to do extended shut down/projects Ability to work night shift when required Potential for interstate work as required Please note all training and tooling will be supplied. About you: Must have a Trade - Turner/Fitter Machinist or equivalent Must have full working rights Must have a valid Driver Licence Physically fit Very strong attention to detail Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures Reliable, punctual and hard working Ability to work with a multi person team or multi shift team Desirable requirements but not limited to: Gearbox overhaul experience Pump overhaul experience Machining experience Order 43 Mining medical CHPP shutdown experience Dogman ticket Basic rigging ticket Intermediate rigging ticket EWP ticket Fork lift ticket Confined space ticket - Within 2 years.
