THE OPPORTUNITY Adventist Senior Living (ASL) is seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team based in our Corporate Office, Cooranbong. Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, the Quality and Compliance Manager provides strategic service and advice on quality, compliance and governance matters across our three aged care services being:- Residential, Home Care and Independent Living, ensuring that risk is managed and the organisation delivers quality outcomes. The role provides support through legislative reviews ensuring legislative compliance frameworks are in place and obligations are met. Additionally the role involves clinical auditing and quality management efforts, aiding in legislative compliance frameworks, managing clinical policies and procedures, and providing overall assistance to the Adventist Senior Living team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. ABOUT YOU The successful applicant will have: •Experience in clinical care, health or equivalent field of service delivery. •Tertiary qualifications in health, governance, quality management, or related field. •Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, governance frameworks, and risk management (residential aged care, support at home and independent living environments). •Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Practice standards •Experience in quality, compliance governance management frameworks, business continuity and risk management. •Experience in leading organisations and teams through audit and accreditation processes in the aged care and disability sectors • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with experience in researching and writing policies and procedures. •Demonstrated skills and experience in the following behavioural competencies: a) Strong interpersonal skills b) Persuading and Influencing c) Writing and Reporting d) Planning and Organising e) Learning and Researching •Demonstrated commitment to a positive organisational culture and ASL's signature behaviours. •Current driver's license •NDIS Workers Screen What really matters here - and what makes Adventist Senior Living work - are our shared values.
